They Refuse to Respect My Knowledge of the EDM Industry, with Bok Nero

Today’s guest has signed multiple tracks with Dim Mak, released countless records with some of the biggest dubstep producers in the game like Bear Grillz and Riot Ten, just to name a couple.

He originally began his career in music as a rapper but as you can guess, made his way into the EDM scene after he was first introduced to it at one of Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Parties. But, since moving into the EDM space, he says that he has had to face a never ending uphill battle when it comes to getting opportunities to perform at certain venues.

Because of the fact that he was originally from the rap industry, some promoters and booking agents that he has had to work with refuse to accept that he knows anything at all about the history of the scene or that he even knows how to Dj in the first place.

So now you’re probably wondering, well then how was he able to continue to grow his project and have massive releases with some of the best in the game?
